Brass valves with electromagnetic drive are universal shut-off valves that automatically block the flow of the medium. According to the principle of operation , solenoid valves made of brass can be:

• direct action: in such solenoid valves, the diaphragm is fixed on the raised plunger. When the current is applied to the electromagnetic coil, the plunger rises, and with it the membrane. Thus, the valve opens.
• pilot, not direct action (with servo reinforcement): in such valves, the pilot channel is responsible for opening. It is closed by the plunger, in the closed state the channel is closed, the pressure in the valve (above and below the membrane) is automatically compensated. When the channel is opened, a pressure difference appears and the valve opens due to a higher pressure at the valve inlet.

Plastic solenoid valves are designed for low pressure and temperature of the working environment. Their electromagnetic coils have a voltage of 12V, 24V or 220V, the protection class is IP65. The valves with an electromagnetic drive are controlled both manually – by applying voltage to the coil, for example, by a conventional switch, and by a signal from a humidity sensor, pressure, level, using a timer for watering, etc.
